Presented by Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage and curated by the organisation’s CEO, Pawlet Brookes MBE, the exhibition features a ground-breaking collection of paintings, sculptures, 3D images and portraits of 100 significant Black British and Irish women – past and present - who have made their mark in politics, arts, science, education, sport, activism, media, technology, theatre, broadcasting, and more. The artworks have been produced by five Black female artists: Valerie Asiimwe Amani, Yvadney Davis, Gayle Ebose, Grace Lee, Lauryn Pinard.
