Edinburgh, UK. 07.08.2014. The cast of 'Noggin the Nog' take a break from their hectic festival schedule to visit the National Museum of Scotland’s exhibit of the 12th Century 'Lewis Chessman' in Edinburgh. Created by Peter Firmin and Oliver Postgate, the original designs of the classic Noggin TV series were based on the historic and mysterious chess pieces, found washed-up on a beach on the Isle of Lewis in 1831. ‘The Sagas of Noggin the Nog’ runs until 25 Aug at the Assembly George Square Gardens, Edinburgh.’ © Jane Hobson.
