Scottish Ballet presents "The Crucible", choreographed by Helen Picketts, composed by Peter Salem, based on the Arthur Miller play, in its world premiere at the Edinburgh Playhouse, as part of the Edinburgh International Festival. Set design and lighting is by David Finn, with set and costume design by Emma Kingsbury. The dancers are: Constance Devernay (as Abigail), Araminta Wraith (as Elizabeth Proctor), Nicholas Shoesmith (as John Proctor), Christopher Harrison (Danforth), Cira Robinson (as Tituba), Thomas Edwards (as Reverend Parris), Bruno Micchiardi (as Reverend Hale), Rimbaud Patron (as Giles Corey), Jerome Barnes (as Francis Nurse), Eado Turgeman (as Thomas Putnam), Grace Horler (as Rebecca Nurse), Grace Paulley (as Martha Corey), Melissa Parsons (as Ann Putnam), Aisling Brangan (as Sarah Good), Jamie Reid (as George Jacobs), Kayla-Maree Tarantolo (as Betty), Clair Souet (as Mary), Roseanna Leney (as Susanna), Amy McEntee, (as Mercy), Matthew Broadbent (as Cheever), Simon Schilgen (as Marshall Herrick), and Andrew Peasgood (as Judge Hathorne).
