Edinburgh, UK. 08.08.2014. The first batch of the Scotsman's Fringe First Awards are presented by Simon Callow in a ceremony at the Assembly Rooms. The award winners are: "Cuckooed" by Mark Thomas, produced by Lakin McCarthy in association with Traverse Theatre Company; "Chef" by Sabrina Mahfouz, starring Jade Anouka at Underbelly, Cowgate:
"The Collector" by Henry Naylor at Gilded Balloon;
"Confirmation" by Chris Thorpe and Rachel Chavkin - Northern Stage at King's Hall;
"Men in the Cities" by Chris Goode and Company in association with Royal Court Theatre at the Traverse Theatre;
