19/01/12. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The festival of Timket is celebrated in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Numerous parades start at many churches, carrying their replica Arks of the Covenant, accompanied by drumming, singing, harps and ullulation, through the city to Jan Meda.
