London, UK. 18/07/2011. The Tiger Lillies in "Soho Songs" at the Soho Theatre. Legendary post-punk pioneers, The Tiger Lillies, return for their first London run in over two years with a new show celebrating Soho. In this show, The Tiger Lillies unveil a whole host of future classics alongside some of their earliest material. Martyn Jacques, lead singer and founder of the band, spent most of his twenties in a flat above a brothel, peeping through his window at the buzz of Soho's lowlife, and he has been writing about whores, gangsters and freaks his entire 22 year career.
