London, UK. 19/12/2011. Forkbeard Fantasy's "The Colour of Nonsense" in the Purcell Room, at the southbank Centre. Following Forkbeard’s recent funding cuts, this production of The Colour of Nonsense is likely to be the last chance to see a live performance by the company. . .The Colour of Nonsense is an exuberant satire on an art and theatre world always in search of the New. At the studios of Splash, Line & Scuro, Cutting Edge Conceptualists, things haven’t been looking too hot of late. Then out of the blue comes a million pound commission for the first ever genuinely INVISIBLE ARTWORK. As mutinous cartoons throw the studios into animated confusion, only the Dong with a Luminous Nose seems able to shed light into the chiaroscuro of chaos. Cast is: Tim Britton (as Line),.Chris Britton (as Splash) and .Ed Jobling (as Scuro). Photo credit: Jane Hobson
